The Workforce Training and Continuing Education Department offers training designed to provide educational opportunities that maximize workforce performance, career development, and self-enrichment.

The goal of the Workforce Training and Continuing Education Department is to assist individuals, businesses, industries, and the community meet their training and education needs. All training events are intended to enrich, strengthen, and support participating students.

Based upon community interest and need, training helps students upgrade their skills, increase their knowledge, learn a new hobby, advance their careers, solve problems, and stimulate their minds.

Workforce Programs

CDL Program

Whether it's driving tractor-trailers, buses, or other commercial vehicles, 正规靠谱赌博软件's comprehensive Commercial Driver's License program combines classroom instruction with hands-on training to prepare students for success. Taught by experienced professionals in the industry using actual vehicles used in the field, these courses equip students with the knowledge and confidence needed to excel in their commercial driving career.

Construction

Each year, the college carefully evaluates its program offerings, focusing on those skills for which there is currently local demand and ensuring that students can quickly turn their educational investments into paying jobs.

Industrial Training Facility

正规靠谱赌博软件's $6 million training facility is an enormous workspace built to simulate realistic work conditions. The 33,000 square foot facility opened in 2023 and is part of an ongoing partnership with the Port Arthur Economic Development Corporation.
